Songs

There are many customs that must be observed before sharing and performing many songs. Please be advised that the use of traditional songs for purposes other then intended is unacceptable cultural behaviour

Southern Tutchone songs are both personal and community oriented. Songs are sung in play, in celebration, in mourning and during other significant and everyday situations. The old songs that are still sung today are personal to the individual and to family.
